Sicilian Observations
This series is based on a trip to Sicily in 2022, where I traveled along the coast and collected visual impressions — from hidden courtyards with palm trees to weathered walls and overlooked urban details. The works were created later, in 2024, using my photographs and memories as a way to return to these places. The main part of the series is developed in digital painting using Procreate.
I also created a number of studio drawings, both digital and in academic pencil, based on sculptures and architectural details observed in Sicilian museums, as well as sculptures found in cities.
