Into the Woods
This lettering work is based on the Russian expression “one runs into the woods, another gathers firewood,” which describes a sense of scattered, uncoordinated movement.
In this work, I explore Cyrillic letterforms, translating this idea into a visual rhythm where each letter moves in its own direction. The natural imagery comes directly from the phrase itself: the forest, branches, and gathered wood become the foundation of the composition.
