Bird Studies
I created this series of three bird illustrations inspired by old ornithological books, focusing on texture, detail, and character. I also used the project to explore watercolor — experimenting with color combinations and color mixing, which I documented for future use. Birds became a natural choice, as their rich and unexpected colors offered a starting point for studying color through observation.
